Frostapple is a living library of apples — eighty-odd varieties, many of them grafted from trees you can’t buy anymore. The names alone are worth the visit: Pitmaston Pineapple, Hauer Pippin, Black Gilliflower.

Pressing starts in October and the wild-fermented cider rests in the barn through winter. The cider room pours flights on weekends once the first batch is ready.
