How listing works
- You submit a form. Tell us your farm name, location, and what you grow. Takes about 2 minutes. No account needed.
- We review it. Every submission is reviewed by a real person before it goes live. This usually takes 48 hours. We verify the details and may follow up by email if anything is unclear.
- Your farm goes live. Once approved, your farm gets its own page on HarvestMap with your crops, location, and contact info. Pickers can find you when your produce is in season.
- Keep it current. When your harvest changes, submit a quick "what's ripe" update from your farm page. We review and publish it the same way.
Changes are not instant
HarvestMap does not have a self-serve dashboard where you can edit your listing directly. This is intentional. Every change, whether it's a new listing or a seasonal update, goes through a quick review before it appears on the site. This keeps the directory accurate and spam-free. You'll never need to log in, remember a password, or manage an account. You just submit a form, and we handle the rest.

Find your farm on HarvestMap, click "Report what's ripe," and tell us what's currently available to pick. You can also use this to correct outdated information in the notes field.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. HarvestMap doesn't use accounts or logins. You submit a form, we review it, and your listing goes live. That's it.
How long until my listing appears?
Typically 48 hours. We review every submission manually to verify the details. You'll receive an email confirmation when your farm is live.
My farm is already listed but the information is wrong. How do I fix it?
Find your farm page, click "Report what's ripe," and describe what needs correcting in the notes field. We'll update the listing after review.
How often should I update my harvest info?
Whenever your crops change. A quick update when a new crop comes into season, or when one finishes, helps pickers find you at the right time. Even a one-line note like "strawberries peaking this week" makes a difference.
Is it free?
Yes. Listing your farm and updating your harvest info on HarvestMap is free for small farms, forever.
Where does my farm data come from if I didn't submit it?
Many farms on HarvestMap were imported from the USDA Local Food Portal and PickYourOwn.org. If your farm appears but you didn't add it, that's why. You can claim it by submitting an update with your contact info so we can verify you're the owner.
